The Wash House at 212 Ocean Highway South, Hertford, North Carolina.

The last time I went there, the dryer ate almost $5! I put the quarters in for it to go for an hour, and after the hour was up, they still felt wet, but my other load, dried for the same amount of time, was dry, so I started it for another 20 minutes, and it turned on, I turned away, and it cut off. I had to then take all the wet clothes out, move them to a different dryer, spend more money, and waste an hour of my time, when I was supposed to be at home enjoying dinner with my family. Also, the change machine, which is often out or quarters, didn't work at all, AND the bathroom was not only out of order, but NAILED SHUT! So not only could I not go to the bathroom while being stuck there an extra hour, but I couldn't even wash out my laundry detergent cup, to put back on my bottle without making a mess. It's a shame it's the only laundry mat in Hertford, guess I need to start going to Edenton or EC.
